    None of the previous consortia have been back in touch, but apparently 2 new investors have approached the club, had a look round etc, but nowt concrete ont table.

    That's bad news. The last time there were takeover rumours, it caused Keith Hill to forget how to manage a football team. At least we can't get any worse.... Can we....? :(

    A takeover before the end of January could be the only thing that saves us from the drop this year. Hopefully they'll bring a new manager with them.

    Sounds like its just regurgitated news to me, every week the Chron is pulling a number of potential investors out of the air, 2 parties interested, then it was 3, then only 1. I also thought the potential investors in September were Italian led by Bonetti?

    I'd take that report with a pinch of salt.
