Look who they were against as well. Mansfield, 19th, who hadn't won in 14 Cambridge, 23rd, all but in L2 Wigan, 17th Exeter, 18th I loved him as a player but he's been part of the dismal coaching staff all season and has shown nothing to suggest he deserves the job full time. We may have created a couple more chances the last couple of games - but again, look at who we were playing. Players obviously haven't done him any favours either, they're poorly coached but have so little quality I'm not sure Arne Slot would get a tune out of them.
The decision to sack Clarke will backfire massively. They've tried the same trick as last season only this time round I don't think it will work because a lot more fans have wised up to these owners and realise they're ******* clueless. Season ticket sales will be down massively, oh and most of the budget will probably go on paying Clarke off. Having said all that, Mladen will probably give Hourihane the full time gig just to piss us off even more
No I don't think we will win any of these 10 games either (with Conor). And I don't think it's all down to Conor, or Clarke either to be honest. It's clear where the real problems are.
