Am not commenting on whether I think davey is up to the job, but please stop mentioning 2 points from 12.
We wouldn't have given him the job just cos he got 8 from the first 12, so he shouldn't, not be given the job because of 2 from the last 12.
He has 8 from a possible 18. Over a season that would be ~61 points and easily safe.

I have to agree. Davey has come in and done a great job with a side which should have been strenthened by AR pre-season. Note ARs idea on team strenthening was Cadamartieri [sic] Davey gets the side playing and then it has it's heart ripped out of it by a nutter with a knife. Had Ronnie been playing in the last two games we would have been saying 8 points from 12. Who really expected us to win the last two away games on the trot? (pint) (pint) (pint) (pint) (pint)
cadertarmerteri is only at Grays til he is 100% fit again. Need a central midfielder who can defend and protect the back four.
At least Cademateri has Premier experience. Knight 4 goals in 41 Championshop starts for Brighton. Both are unfit, but my money would be on Danny C to score more than 4 in 41.
"Davey gets the side playing" I agree that we are missing Wallwork, but Davey made a terrible mess of managing the second half against Southend.
He tinkered with the midfield at half time (breaking up the Wallwork / Togwell partnership) and we were lucky to get a win.
So far, Davey has had one good game (the 1 - 0 win against Ipswich). I was very hopeful after that game, but since then the team hasn't really performed any better than it did under AR.

I wasn't implying it was in any way entertaining After the Ipswich game, I was hoping thatDavey was trying to make us more "difficult to beat".
However, histinkering at half time in the Southend game (moving Howard back into middle and Togwell onto the right) indicated to me that he didn't really have the guts to go through with such a philosophy. Pity.
Over the last few games you could have been forgiven for thinking AR was back in charge.
