sounded like we did enough to win to me

Sounded like that to me too, but Brentford seemed to do well in the first half so maybe one point each wasn't THAT unfair.

Looking back at the chancers we created and that we should have a penalty we should have won!

When should we have had a penalty?

If you're thinking about the situation with McPhail just before half time, the commentatores agreed with the referee after seeing it on video.

    Definitely two points LOST!

We need to be winning our home games - especially with our away record being /poo

Oh didn't know about that! but at the time they did seem convinced!

    So what exactly happened Tom?

It looked like the ball was squared across the area and McPhail was bundled over.

The commentators were convinced it was a penalty at the time

But in the second half, after seeing the replay on TV, they conceded the ref had got it right and no penalty should have been given.

Not sure, but from the commentators I got the impression that McPhail was holding the defender's shirt first.

    Deffo 2 lost.

We were EASILY the better team.

Many candidates for MOTM for me. Although I though Austin deserved it, or maybe even Carbon ahead of Shuker.

If Brentford were 2nd, we deserved to be top.

Sloppy though to lose concentration after we scored to let them straight back in.

Well, maybe it wasnt a pen after all but.....

Why the hell did he give THEM the freekick? Surely play should have just gone on. Still looked a pen to me.

I thought Burns played well today, however he and McPhail were very deep when we were on the attack second half.

MOTM - Austin, Burns, Carbon, Reid(shame about his sending off like)

    Yeah

Burns too was commanding. Best game he's played at Oakwell for some time IMO. Hope he continues to play like that.

we hung on to a point

despite the best endeavours of the ref and liners to give all 3 to Brentford.

well Dave i look at ths way,on my theme of all teams expect to win at home..doing that will bring 69 points. Barnsey lost 2 of those points to day ,can now on home results get 67 points....on the other hand..on my them of 4 games ie.6pts every 4 games.must now get an away win,on the first 4 they got6 points, they must get or equall or do better than 6 point every 4 games,..thats my theory....hope you are well.....ive had two good days..oops....ive supped up
