    I'm no x-factor / pop idol / boy girl band ******** fan. But I'll tell you this, that girl CAN sing, and she can sing very well, I found her first ever audition on youtube the other day and even then before professional coaching she was pretty amazing, and before you ask why I was looking for it, I was writing a lecture called 'Since when did television create popstars?'.

    What's wrong with Lead Balloon?

    Larry David came up with the idea with CYE and everybody says 'genius'. Lead Balloon is pretty good as things go.

    larry david is a comedy god...i understand the comparison with lead balloon with its format etc and its not bad as it stands but lacks the 'reality' factor of CYE.

    Watched it Thursday night, not one laugh in it........

    Jack Dee is trying desperately to pull off a Ricky Gervais and failing miserably, the guy is not funny at all, the script is weak and the acting weaker still.

    Leona Lewis is a warbler in the same mould as Beyonce, Maria Carey and about 20 more, the style as become boring, do we need all these Beyonce clones?
    I'll bet the next series of the X Factor throws up another Leona Lewis wannabe that comes close to winning it.
