I think we need 9 wins which looks incredibly tough. We are going to need to pull out three wins on the bounce from somewhere or something like that to give ourselves a real chance. We just need to stay in it at this point as other teams will get nervy if we can take it down to the last couple of games. We are not a terrible side but agree it will be very tough.
And the longer the don and whoever else in charge takes to make a decision will almost surely seal our fate. A decisions needed and the new man installed a week before Leeds to stand any chance.
amen to that if a new man was announced say this Friday, to take over Monday. That would be great. He could take a look at the Cup game maybe watch a few match vids of us over the week-end too. Take some training sessions in the week and maybe get a few feelers into the loan/transfer market.Butit needs to be very very VERY much sooner than later.
Time is of the essence now. If we appoint well without delay we have a slim chance, if we procrastinate or get the appointment wrong we will be relegated.
100% agreed. Appoint this week and use FA Cup game as a "monitor/review" and then dip into loan market (out-goings and in-comings) ahead of Leeds game. The problem is we have sacked Hill in the middle of the busy Holiday period, which doesn't leave the Board (or panel as Don calls it) much thinking time. Hill should have gone after Weds game.......we left it a few games too long and we may regret this come April/May 2013?
We won nine from 48 under the berk last year. There is no way we can win nine from 20 to the end of the season.
Eight wins, five or six draws and six or seven defeats might be good enough, should be based on past seasons
