    I saw Panama the other week against Wales, they aren’t going to be easy opposition. Some very good technicians and they play a nice brand of football.

    Tunisia are not a pushover either. So many of their top players in France etc. And Belgium are arguably the strongest team in the world on paper. Unreal depth.

    I would still expect us to advance though.

    World Cups and the Euros have had a tendency to coincide with seasons of good & bad memories for Barnsley (not on every occasion, though!:D):-
    1968- promotion from Division 4 (European Championship);
    1972-relegation from Division 3 (European Championship);
    1998-relegation from Premier League (World Cup);
    2000-reach Wembley for first time in Play Off Final (European Championship);
    2002-relegation from the First Division (World Cup);
    2006-promotion to Championship (World Cup);
    2008-reach new Wembley for first time in FA Cup Semi Final (European Championship);
    2014-relegation from Championship (World Cup);
    2016-winning JPT and promotion to Championship (European Championship).
    I assume I can look forward to us winning the FA Cup in May!:D:D

    When we play Panama I think we will have to play in the channel. But they might want to play in the canal.

    I reckon we’ll finish 2nd in the group. Beat Poland in the first knockout round and then lose in the quarters.
