21 years ago today John Hendrie did this, not a bad way to get off the mark. You don't see many 33 year olds at this level now as good as he was. No offence to our current recruitment strategy, but thank **** it' weren't around back then..

I can think of one or two recent players would have shied away from the through ball for Marcelle's goal.
I think that's another thing that's changed. Back then you could still get a player at the end of their career with a bit still to offer and affordable. Not so much now. A player of his quality would have made their money and have a nice coaching job somewhere or doing tv work.
