27 quid phone bill for ordering tickets

    A friend of mine has been charged 27£ for the time it took to book his tickets, more than the cost (inc booking and postage) of the cheapest ticket! Can anyone tell me if the 08442 485141 number is actually the football clubs or ticketmaster?

    Don't think so but the call lasted about an hour as the person he spoke to was having problems viewing the seating plan ( for what reason i don't know), then the tickets he wanted were purchased by another party whilst on the line so had to book different tickets.

    According to the club website that number is charged at 10p per minute

    so unless he was on the phone for over 3.5 hours I dont see how he can get a £27 bill


    Unless of course he was phoning from outside the UK?

    Ha ha yes it was on a mobile and the women kept saying her screen wasn't working so kept using someone elses.. ooer
