    Can we all join in the minutes applause on the 29th minute for the 17 year old Burton Albion ladies player who passed away, a few of us on here have got daughters who play football, lets show our respect for the young lady

    yes it was her squad number, reds fans did it for my dad 2 years ago on the 70th minute

    To avoid the crowd getting on the refs backs. When it used to go upwards and the board would go up at the end of the game for say 4 minutes, he would get hurled abuse if he didn't blow as the scoreboard struck 94:00 so doing it the other way makes fans less aware of when the whistle could be blown.

    As for the Burton girl it was good to see so many clapping for her.
