Apparently they're all unreasonable. You'd think they'd play for nothing wouldn't you?

hmmm, he said it previously, is that man-u wanted guaranteed 1st team games, guaranteed, and AR couldnt guarantee that, but GS said, that the loanee was available for activation at any time (once they agreed to the guarantee) - i guess thats AR's decision.

Might be different if the position was

up front, then I'd go along with it,

    i have a feeling

that this guy would be fetched in to fill Howard or togwells boots should they get injured. I doubt we will see them otherwise.

What worries me is again we have this from the chairman:

"hes a utility player, we can fecth him in anytime we like"

    and this from the manager:

"hes a midfielder and Man Utd want us to guarantee him first team football!"

    once again 2 different viewpoints.

    RE: 2 different view points

It was Gordon Shepherd that told me on friday that the Man United player was a midfielder and that Alex Feguson wanted a guarantee of first team football for him. Andy Ritchie, understandably, didn't want to drop Togwell or Howard.

Gordon also said that himself and the club scouts continue to put suggestions for players to AR. AR was following up on one of these on Friday but I guess these enquiries happen all the time.

Yep, Shepherd should keep his mouth shut

about the 'team'/players side of things. He's running the club, maybe he's forgot that he's employed a manager to take care of the players and football bit!

    He aint got a clue.
