Yes pal, all join at this stage apart from the sides in Europe. I also believe it is still seeded so more than likely will be getting a very tough side next round

Villa? Noooo - we never get anything from them, apart from that Prem League win at Villa Park last century. I've seen us lose several times at home to them, without us even scoring.

Hitch hiked up one Tuesday night (from RAF Cosford, near Wolverhampton) to see us thrashed 0-4 at home, then hitch hiked back to camp straight after. Happy days! (not)

I think the Prince is referring to our 4-0 home defeat to Villa in September 1971. We were relegated back to the old Fourth Division at the end of that season.

Everton at home for me. Be nice to see Stones back here (if he's still at Everton), it'd be a biggish game for us to look forward to & I'd imagine it'd be on Sky so the club would get a nice pay day

I'd like us to draw whoever Holgate signs for so DrZ and others get an early chance to have a good boo at him.

    I really do. ☺

One of my earliest memories of watching us play Villa in our relegation season 1971/2 - we got hammered 4-0! Villa went up and we went down. I think it was my first ever night game

I think Andy Lochhead & Chico Hamilton scored 2 goals apiece that evening.

I was just leg pulling mate. He comes across as a reasonable chap to me.

Yes, that was the game that I was quoting above. Andy Lochhead did a proper centre forward job on us that night. Seemed like they were on a different planet. I must have got back to Cosford about 2am after that, hitching all the way.

Very easy in those days to get anywhere in the country if you were wearing RAF uniform. Don't know why I bothered buying a car really!
