I know it's only the first game but what I've seen from the positive signings we have had in pre season, so called strengthening our team, and observing Chesterfield losing much of their play off team from last season, the we should be creaming them. The reverse is happening. this appears to be becoming the same old problem in English football. This being we all think football managers should be ex-players or the like; this is not the case. Management is about motivating people and if you have a team of all stars but a manager who can't motivate then you may as well have a team of losers. My experience as a manager for over 30 years. What we need is a good scout, a tactician and a motivation manager. Is this not easy to understand? But we as most teams continue to think in the 60's and 70's. Football like anything else evolves, why can't we? More pain today.
