I can remember last season in the transfer window we went for some top names, that in all honesty wouldn't entertain playing league 1, I wonder whether Mr Ritchie is doing the usual and aiming to high, going for the likes of Raul, Carlos and Beckham....

It does beg the question why players / clubs are turning us down. We are in the Championship for god sake!! and playing good attractive football...

Infact, we aren't far off being a good team. We create chances and so would be a great opportunity for a striker to come in and take charge, and likewsie a centre half to sure things up.... is it wages that are the problem?

Maybe its the persuasive talents of GS and AR that are at fault!

    It's simple...

We can only get players on loan right now - so it's not transfer fees.

Nobody else can buy anyone either. Everyone wants better players - not their weak ones.

If you're stuck with what you've got until the window opens you're not going to let good, proven players go out on loan (even if the other club is no doubt offering to pay wages).

WHY THE **** WOULD ANYONE WANT TO LOAN US ANYONE GOOD?

If another club came in for McIndoe or Kay - would we let them go out for six months or a year? Would we chuff. Forget this 'getting players in on loan' ****. It aint gonna happen. They could get four **** players in on loan tomorrow - but why would they?

I have stopped believing we have gone for players, its flannel if you ask me...everytime same story

we were turned down , they are not available...just not believable any more.Especially when you see teams no better, or even worse, than us getting what they want...sorry I have totally lost belief in the backroom people at Barnsley

Thats what i dont understand, WHY NOBODY WANTS TO COME TO OAKWELL.
We must be wanting them to play for free or summat.Im fed up of hearing how we have missed out on so many loan players.
The way i feel today i really dont want to go on Saturday .

I'm sure a cup of tea and a biscuit would replenish that belief
