Definitly some left overs from last season
And this can be seen with the confidence levels of the teams that went up and the teams that were relegated or were near the bottom

    5-1.........its unbeleivable

The players at Barnsley must be on a real downer............and so are the fans

There's only two people that can make a difference right now and thats Keith Hill and David Flitcroft..........these two guy have to stay positive

The main problem we have at Barnsley is that each season, since we came up from the 1st division, we have started with more or less a new team because nothing is being built at Barnsley and it often shows with poor starts to the season

Surely the majority of fans expected us to struggle again this season. Look at how we finished last campaign and look at the squad we have. Its going to be a long hard season and yesterday wont be the last smashing we get. Home form is so important if we are going to get anywhere near the 50 point mark.

It really dont help with the matter of having 9-10 1ST TEAM PLAYERS OUT(then again shouldnt have to rely on 1st teamers all time shows realllll depth hey?) now im questioning the training mr hill did in pre-season and friendlies i mean what the hell how many we got with hamstring injuries,,,,another thing im living down south and well the amount of crap i get from my southern friends ahahahaha,,sort it out hill or JUST SIMPLY move on,,,past what 6 years?? always we are tipped to go down (bloody chris kamara, whats he done lol)

We are in a Relegation fight and were always going to be for one reason. Hill has not addressed the defensive frailties of last season and once again we are leaking goals for fun. I fully understand our injury problems but even with these players back in the squad it would make little difference to the solidity of the back four.(I excuse Luke Steele from my last comment)
I sincerely hope Martin Crainey can make a difference but judging by what happened to Coventry last season I'm not going to be too optimistic.

I couldn't and still can't see beyond 24th this season and hope I will be wrong.

We went from trying to sign Greer to scratching around in the free transfer bin.

Our pursuit of defensive recruits over the summer, especially given our obvious frailties, has been laughable really. Like you say we went for Greer and then it seemed as if that was it, if it wasn't going to be Greer then Hill wasn't interested in anybody else. Bizarre. We were crying out for a CB or 2 last season and we are again this season, but our manager doesn't see it, his RB from Rochdale will do for him. Frustrating as ****.

Or he does see it and we just can't recruit the right player.

I can't believe that we are unable to sign CB's, he maybe needs to change his DNA criteria. And I don't accept that he can see it because we have signed a CB now in Cranie but he still picks his Rochdale RB at CB and then brings the new lad on at LB (I know he can play there but we have a glaring weak spot in the CB positions, both of them).

A bit like the perm, l expect a number of clubs to be adrift at the bottom this season... From the off ..Peterboro Palace Millwall and us.......so the best we can hope for is 4th bottom

Wiseman always being selected, would Flicker do it? Be interesting to see Flicker's 11.

He has already said the defence is fine - he puts our defensive frailties down to losing attacking midfielders.

Further proof that the bloke is living in cloud cuckoo land. I haven't got a coaching badge though.

We are talking about what Flicker would do if he was picking the side. Has he said the defence is fine?

The car is their office and they spend enough time in the office together they surely discuss tactics and players strengths and weaknesses.
