The First Half: For me I thought it was 45 minutes of the best football I've seen from any Barnsley team and I've been watching them since 1950.
i think you're right feller - not seen quality like that first half for a long, long time. tiredness was inevitable in the midfield in that second half, but lets not forget a superb first 45 minutes
Whatever happens in that dressing room at half i dont know but it has to stop. They all looked like they had sunk 6 pints for the second half. The 3rd goal was inevitable they put a runner on every back pass to the goalkeeper. It was obvious they were going to get a result with it you could see the panic setting in as the match went on.
Half time talk Was joking with my mate that the half time talk went something like this. Hill "Great stuff lads, keep it up; now what do you want with your half time orange, meat and tattie pie or fish and chips".
