Did the Yorkshire 3 peaks on Saturday in a time of 10 hours 40 minutes. Not bad for a first try. Very enjoyable but that last hill is an absolute killer.

which way round did you do it?

i blistered up just over half way round with it being my first walk for months hehe - nowt like practice! I found the last ascent tough going. Did it quite steady away but just under 10 hours if i remember right. I had to hobble the last 2 miles.

Plan on doing it again but at night under moonlight.

Not a bad time at all, I'm doing it end of June again for Macmillan Cancer and will be my fifth time. Agree about the last hill it can be a killer!

Did pen-y-ghent first followed by Whernside, then Inglebrough.

3 peaks - looking for sponsors

I've gota 'sticky' thread at the top of the forum but off the back of this thread thought would bump interest back up again.

Am doing the 3 peaks for Macmillan cancer support on June 27th and am looking for sponsorship. My initial target was £250 but within two weeks I have managed to get £220 and with a month to go could increase this even more.

So, if you are able to sponsor no matter how big or small please follow the below link.

    Many Thanks
