The Brit was wearing a suit and tie.
Presented by the president of France at the equivalent of Buckingham Palace.
Classless response by a classless clueless nation.

Or perhaps that are on holiday with no suit and tie packed and have literally just been released from hospital?

You say classless, I say not being fake and pretending to be someone you're not

There is a little bit of an element of parody in the story though. Three Hollywood good looking all American heroes rescue a train full of scared surrendering French people from a gun wielding terrorist. Well, to be fair he'd dropped the gun when they beat him unconscious. But hang on, there's a British hero here too. I bet our boy has got that Daniel Craig thing going on. Erm, well actually it's Norm from IT. Ah. Right. But still those French people, dearie me, just sat there resigned to their fate. Well....bit more of the story's coming out now, in fact it was a French guy who tackled him first. Then the American's joined in. And then Norman from IT. He just doesn't want to be named.

And then to compound it all the suspects lawyer says he isn't a terrorist he just 'found' an AK-47 in a park. He was only intending to hold up the train anyway, and he is very indignant that he is being portrayed as an evil terrorist rather than a hostage taker.

I'm being facetious by the way, fair play to all those above who reacted in the way they did.

This incident leads to a reconciliation between one of the men, an emotionally distant man, and his estranged wife who loves hime deeply but couldn't cope with him 'not being there' for her, when it makes him realise how precious life really is and what really matters.

I just got the feeling the Brit was milking it a bit afterwards and maybe didn't have as much 'hands on' as he was making out though I may be doing him a disservice
