All the best with it. I did it on the equivalent date last year, starting from Ribblehead and going Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. I made it twenty-five miles and 5,300 feet of aggregated ascent. It took me twelve hours from 8am to 8pm. That's not bad, as I will be sixty-five next birthday! Unless it has been very dry, I would avoid the Pennine Way bog-route between Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside. The river route was less boggy. Best wishes for good weather and for the cause.
thanks for the advice / warning Thomas, we will give a good go. i'm planning on doing lots of cycling and football in preperation, hopefully we will get the weather.
