    He's worth at least 5 times that. At least.

    26, plenty of years left, scored one in 3 in the Championship.

    No other club in the league will sell their top scorer in January for 300k.

    He's out of form at the minute but we'll not replace him immediately for 300k. We'll have to put 18 months into someone.

    So is the release clause £300k or £750k as reported yesterday?

    If £300k is the figure then it's an absolute disgrace with regard to contract negotiation.

    If he's as bad as you're all saying, is 300k such a bad price? If that frees up wages to bring in better quality players on free/loan transfers, i'm happy with that.

    Anyone who thinks selling our top scorer for 300k to a divisional rival whilst we are bottom of the league is an achievement by the Don must be a certified nutter.

    I truly ******* despair at the way the club is run. If Don thinks 300k is a good price then he needs to **** of back to Scunny the pr1ck.

    He's in the last 6 months of his contract, Bolton could sign him on a pre contract if they wait a few months. I'd have been over the moon with anywhere over £500k but £300k sounds about right to me.

    Didn't learn from the release clause of Mcindoe and didn't learn again with Hammill and didn't learn again with Davies. Probably other release clauses too.
