Didn't know the away following at the time, so cheers for that. Everyone got behind the team well and some even managed to be recorded lol. Although my personal favourite was the oldish guy being taken out by six stewards. One held each arm, one held each leg and two held up the middle as he was taken out laid down.
if he was an away fan at oakwell he would get a mug of coaco and a blanket form the club to keep warm.
He was laughing his head off and speaking to everyone as he passed. Didn't look much of a threat to be honest. Surely they could have walked him out? Still, he seemed to enjoy it.
He was loving the attention everyone was giving him by the corner flag. He made most of the situation that's for sure.
Have to say I do like your stadium. One of the better 'new' stadiums. Thought you looked poor though. You improved when Savage went off, that young lad you brought on (33?) looked lively.
You were probably one of the Barstewards blocking my view lol. It's good being in the corner so you are close to the home fans. Even though I were near the front, the view was decent.
no. 33 is Bannan. Loan from Aston Villa. Looked good last week against Sheff United and looked decent today I thought. Terrible performance today considering it was a good attendance from both sides. As for Pride Park? I've never warmed to it but its still better being able to fill it. Going to places like the Ricoh and St. Marys over the past few years have been a real let down. Having stood on the Popside even when we were close to collapse it still beats the "experience" you get nowadays. Oh and the old clock from the Baseball Ground that has been retouched and placed oddly in the East Stand. You couldn't see it from where you were could you? Went with excitment today of seeing something that was part of my youth, and yet couldn't see it from where I was in the South East corner due its ridiculous positioning. Used to always seem to die a death when it hit 4.40 each Saturday.
