34 for 2 - hmmm

  1. They CAN'T mess this up, can they? Over 200 lead for only two wickets down is a great position but with nearly another hour to play tonight the Aussies are scenting blood now. Get a couple more and we are back in trouble again.
    What a fantastic day's cricket though :)

I like to watch a lot sports, but you can only watch cricket on a warm day with a beer in hand and it don't matter what the score is !

no matey , we will not mess this up, Simon Davey is not in charge for one

we will win the ashes do not worry, Darren Gough sez so

  5. Yes, Sir Geoffrey has just said so as well

Watching the highlights on Channel 5 and he says the Aussies are finished. Not sure I agree with that but England are in a terrific position and there is loads of time left but it wasn't that long ago that we let a huge lead slip and lost the match. The pitch looks like a dust bowl though so that is bound to have a major influence on the result. England to win, but it won't be straightforward. The Aussies won't bat so badly second innings so we need another 200 on top of what we have already

    Another 100...

...and they will need to get as many runs as we got in the first knock. No way will they score that many runs in the final knock on this pitch.
