Re: Against EU law so illegal

Ebola vaccinations were used even though they were inconclusive. Logically pauine should have been killed to prevent the disease. As should africa

Surprised theres that many more sheep than cattle, I'd have thought beef was a lot more popular.

It's a shame animals have to die for us to get meat, but it is really really tasty.

Are you comparing a human being to a badger?

    I give up.

The failure to cull has also decreased the hedgehog population to an extent that some are saying they could be extinct within 15 years.

Would this be from the Daily Mail book of facts, by any chance? The sad thing here, is that you have allowed yourself to be hoodwinked by corrupt politicians who are being operated by the NFU's hand up their arse, creating a scapegoat for the own mismanagement and poor animal husbandry and bio-security.. A government determined to sell and destroy your woodlands and wildlife and ***** £25m of your taxes in persecuting an ancient, native mammal on the false pretence that it will have any impact on the levels of bTB in the national herd. You have swallowed their ******** whole and don't even have nouse to question it, despite the overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary.

Either that, or you lives are so small, you're just trying to get a rise out of folk?

Nothing to do with badgers - they have co-existed for 1000s of year in Britain. Habitat fragmentation is the main cause of the decline of hedgehogs - in other words it's because of man.

I'd personally just be happy if he could learn how to post properly.

Posts a reply, writes the first sentence if his post in the subject line and the second in his post.

Yes, that's what the subject box is for...

Isn't there a campaign to get people to create a small opening between their gardens to allow hedgehogs to pass through for exactly this reason?

Yes there is and to leave little bits of gardens fairly scruffy to provide somewhere for them to live.

mass agriculture has destroyed habitat, along with the fetish for manicured stockade gardens, paving decking etc. Hedgehogs eat slugs and snails, slug pellets kill hedgehogs. As do industrial pesticides. A very valuable little mammal. In certain environments sandy soil near coasts for example, badgers are know to take the odd hedgehog, no more than they ever did though and they would much rather sit down to a scrummy plate of earthworms.

I'm wilding half my garden in Wentworth and establishing a hedgehog haven and one day a little rescue sanctuary in my outhouse..

Wildlife can no longer cross large sections of the M1, now they've replaced the central barriers with a solid concrete wall.

I posted this speech a year or two ago, but it is still the most succinct, factual rationale on the badger cull. It is why I have sabbed the last two culls and despite my recent health troubles, I'll be standing in front of guns again this year.

I shouldn't, but I can't help laughing at that. Anyway, if God hadn't wanted us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of meat.

Not bad thanks, mate. Wish I could get to matches, but I will have inconsiderate gits for mates. And badgers... :)
