Clearly shows Hume in the dugout behind Hassell - with a coat and a hat on. Surely if his injury was really serious, he'd have been straight to hospital?
Speaking from experience Head injuries can take a while to develop. I've been in hospital twice with pretty severe concussion. Thing is, I was alright for the first few hours after getting the injury but things slowly started to deteriorate.
I thought it was him but after SD interview on Radio Sheff he said he had to leave way before the end of the game with his dad.
Didn't know where he was. kept trying to stand up but had to keep crouching down. Don't know why the physio didn't take him off.
I'm sure Davey said that Hume had to go to hospital an hour after the incident.. because his condition was deteriorating and he couldn't stand up properly. So presumably that picture is during that hour. It says in the Star's article that it was his condition deteriorating on Sunday that caused him to need surgery.
