    I'd go 4-3-3

    Jennings, O'Grady, McCourt

    Mellis, Perkins, Etuhu

    Golbourne, Crainie, Mvoto, Wiseman

I like Daggers, Cykwa and a few others but gone for a bit of of pace q trickery up front.

Terrible result today. All I can say is the only figures I don't want to see again is 5-2. :(

Annoying thing is I though if not for the harsh sending off I fancied us for the win.

But yeah, hope we recover, awful decisions after the sending off though.

    Depends on who we're playing.

Topday should have been a 4-5-1 due to their attacking threats as well as Jason Lowe holding midfield. A team like Barnsley, who are going to regulary struggle, need to match formations more often then not, especially going to sides away who have one of the best midfielders in the league as well as the best forward in the Football League.

Southampton is a one off game so anything could happen but against Hudfders next week, a 4-4-2 has got to be played. Yorkshire derby against a side that is full of confidence can't be risked playing wing backs.

    Steele

    Hassell
    Wiseman
    McNulty
    Golbourne

(Take out Hassell and McNulty and put Wiseman to right back if Nyatanga loses his fitness battle and M'Voto loses his appeal)

    O'Brien
    Perkins
    Etuhu
    Cywka

    O'Grady
    Pedersen

Good squad to choose from, don't know how were doing **** (except from the current defence but everything will be ok once suspensions and injuries are served)

Is all this jiggering about with the formation going to cut out the basic errors we are making on the pitch?

Why would we want to appeal the sending off? One match ban which will be served by Southampton.

Mainly because it was a joke of a decision. And do cup games count?

There was no tackle by Mvoto, very minimal contact.

But you can't get a red for that, its not basketball where contact isn't allowed.
