Wingers, went for it, everyone in their proper positions, still lost. Anyone going to concede that the players aren't good enough yet?

We'd have murdered them if their keeper hadn't had a worldie...

I think our problems have been a combination of absolutely terrible player recruitment AND terrible squad selection and tactics. Today the tactics were fine but the players were just not good enough.

Tactics and formations have been ***** this season. When your players just aren't good enough, you try all sorts of rubbish. None of it has helped like, but at the end of the day what can you do when the players just aren't ******* good enough? We had a reasonable squad that just needed a few additions, but we got rid of it.

No because today I felt we were genuinely unlucky.

In a lot of the other games we've dominated possession but didn't actually create chances & were kidding ourselves or should I say Johnson was that we were by far the better team.

I get the feeling Hammill may well keep him in a job, his crossing was superb & looked the best player on the pitch by a mile.

I think when you have Winnall, Smith & Wilkinson who've proved they can score at this level, Jackson who's proved it in the league above & Toney who proved it in the league below & none of them are delivering you have to question the manager, especially when others like Hourihane, Pearson, Scowen, Nyatanga & G. Smith are all performing worse than they did last season

If Hammill is owt like for us he will be gone in Jan I fear....

    Agree on Hammill.

I presumed he'd scored a few for Oldham. If not then that's another reason to question why we signed him

Yep, except our Head Coach chose to pick a 19 year old loanee, and a 22 year old loanee in place of Winnall and Jackson, when Watkins could have played wide right.

We are **** but our coach doesn't give us the best chance. ******* loans.

Weren't we trying to sign Wilkinson permanently at the start of the season but he wasnt interested? Absolutely laughable to get him on loan

Aye. Oldham fans said he was turnip on their forum. They're not wrong.

Nailed on we go there, with Wilkinson up top next week and beat em, and he scores.

    As if.
