    Muller

    Foster Moore Souza Van Homoet
    JCR Hassel Heslop/Butterfield El Haimour
    Cureton Macken

If you've got to juggle things round Simon at least play the majority in their proper or familiar position. JCR & Rigters were awful today. JCR ends up coming miles too deep & thinks he can take everyone on. That's all well & good in the final third, not in defence or just in front.

Thought the defence looked as solid as I'd seen for a while & Van Homo seems to have improved from last season significantly.

Butterfield showed some willingness to get on the ball when he came on & got into some space well.

Macken was poor, why does he end up at right back half of the time? Stay up fron Jon, you know it makes sense. Cureton was also anonymous.

How did Rigters miss that in the first half?

MOM Hassel by a country mile. Could count on one hand the amount of mis-placed passes all game. He looked top dollar all afternoon.

Overall, disappointed, but not unexpected. We had enough to win the game but I'd still have been happy with a point with the side/formation that was put out.

Looking forward to Devaney being back along with Anderson. We're a completely different side without him.

    Rant over.

I don't think 4-3-3 worked cos Rigters and Cureton are too lazy, having said that with the number of easy chances we had the game should have been sewn up well before they scored.

It's not that Cureton is lazy, we don't play the type of football that's delivered him goals in the past.

But your strikers have to work back with 433 and neither Cureton or Rigters did that.
