4 away games against Wolves (promotion contender), Swansea (PL side) and Brighton (play off contenders). Could we expect to keep a clean sheet in these games? At least we have scored in every game so far, including three points and a clean sheet against Middlesb. We'll be OK and grab the points needed against Palace, Peterb. and such. *I forgot Rochdale..
I think we all know we need a big strong commanding defender. However, Keith Hill isn't going to go out and just sign anyone to please us lot is he especially if he isn't going to be a better option than what we have. I guarantee he will be on the look out, and he will bring the right man in. Just takes time, seeing as we can't just go out flashing the cash and sign anyone we want. We will just have to make do with what we have. Doesn't help that 2 key defenders are injured. I personally think we should think of sending Collins out on loan if he isn't going to feature anytime soon.
Wolves - no win in umpteen before us, Brighton - no goals in three before us (no way are they play off contenders), Swansea - reserve team, Rochdale - lower division team. So, yes, yes, yes and yes, or if not, at least it should be being made very difficult for them. Sadly, "and such" don't play in our league.
The problem with that theory is what happens if we don't. Already it looks like we have a defence that no one is confident that we can keep a clean sheet, this means we probably need to score twice to have any chance of winning. Which we rarely do.
Think we've got it bad? - How about this little away score from Hungary today... http://www.flashscores.co.uk/match/rmfsXbiU/?of=uk#match-summary Berceni 31 - 0 Buftea. The home team scored 12 goals in the first half and another 19 in the second.
