Be some in for Xmas

 

Were some on open day but it looked small to me for a large (more like a medium on past kit makers we've had) but they had no XL apart from in long sleeves. Don't know if the club shop have any XL in now. Can't be arsed finding out when they can't get enough in stock so early in the shirt selling period of the season.

Said it in past seasons as it's not rocket science. You look how many of something we've sold by a certain date in years gone by and make sure we have plenty more than that available to sell. I can understand if it's towards the end of the season but it's not. Maybe we've very little storage space. We shouldn't have though with the acres and acres of land around our ground.

 

The problem is, the previous data on sales tells us that we've only ever sold 10 shirts before Christmas. What no-one realises is, the reason we've only ever sold 10 is because we only had 10 in stock. Every year we go "time to order them 10 shirts in we'll need" and sit back super pleased that our orders are on track again.

 

Could be onto something I have no idea how many shirts we sell every season but this is only an example based on the original post. If over the past decade we've never failed to sell 500 adult large home shirts by christmas then for the kit released we should have had that amount already in stock. A consumer shouldn't rely on a supporter to keep asking for something. They want our money so should have what people want available so they can give it them. When it's made a chore to buy something it's going to put people off and that money could be spent elsewhere.
