all the top ten have had glitches it's bound to happen. Unlike Football manager games we do not have any cheat codes. So get a grip folks. No matter what happens we have had a truly remarkable season so far.
Agree, only 1 of the top 10 won over the weekend ( QPR moved into the top 10 with a win). Nobody can win every game, but it's how you respond next game after a defeat. I expect a response on Wednesday night
I must have wandered into a parallel universe. Is this really a thread started by Dragon Tyke telling other folk not to panic?
Still on a very good position. I think the one area of concern, for want of a better word, is that the first half has been poor in three of the four games since the break, with Ismael saying afterwards that he wasn’t happy with the lack of intensity. Can we find a way of upping that in the first half, without Morris who cannot start games at the moment?
Well said that was a free game we lost. Regroup onto next one. Reading have Norwich and Swansea to play in there last 4 if they pip us they deserve it.
4 points needed from last 4 games for me. Think that will probably be enough. Sooner we get them though, the better. We don’t want to be losing at Huddersfield or all of a sudden there’ll be big pressure on the Rotherham game. Still think we’ll be alright....
Difficult to do if Morris can’t play more than 45 mins though. Wouldn’t want to be taking him off at half time with the game still in the balance. If Morris can’t start, victor should’ve started over Chaplin today.
Imo Palmer is only effective if we pressing Playing a normal midfield role doesn’t suit Palmer or at least in the current position. If we not pressing I’d be tempted to put Styles in that role .
FFS Dragon, I am NOT panicking, I merely stated I think it would be good business to recruit Hendrie and Wilkinson for the run-in :-D
I'm confident we'll be better this week, but will be nervous watching like most weeks. Reckon Val will have been firm and fair to the players about yesterday. We lost, no need to smash teacups etc. They need to relax, no one expects us to be where we are so continue thumbing our noses to the media and other massives. Keep that mentality and we'll be fine. I'm not bothered about the approach or how pretty it looks, its all about results. Let the others get worked up about us.
All this ‘we’ve still had a great season stuff’. Fair dos, but it has to be said that from the position we got ourselves into, if we didn’t finish top 6 it will be a terrible end to the season.
Agree. I'm living on mi nerves. And dont want that to be for nowt. Play offs will be what will be. But let's get there. It's in our own hands.
We have had a great season, of course it will be disappointing (not terrible) if we don’t make the play-offs, but it will be a short-lived disappointment for the level-headed amongst us as we reflect on the whole season.
