Odds with Sky Bet tonight: 40/1 to be relegated. 7/2 for a top 6 finish. I don't think I've ever seen us so respected by bookies before. If we win our next game I'm going to have to force myself not to be optimistic.
7/2 to reach the playoffs is far too short. Saturday will tell us a lot about our prospects for the rest of the season. We may have won three games on the trot, but they were scrappy wins against struggling sides. In previous years we would have probably lost or drawn, so I’m no longer concerned about relegation. However, our record against top half teams is not good, and we’re still prone to costly mistakes at the back. If Styles is suspended, then we’ll be missing a key part of what has made us successful this season. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
