Well 7,400 at £15 average £111,000 Thats an at an average of £15 and doesnt include food and beverage and programme sales nice little earner for the club and hopefully 3 points for us. There only coming to see the Barnsley
its not the clubs fault they have the space to sell and are doing what a business should. Meet demand. Its a shame that more people arent attending to support our team but im behind the club on this. Like i said hopefully three points for us and plenty of chanting of "you've only come to see the Barnsley" unfortuntely neither seems likely.
Depends on the view you take Giving an away team both the North Stand and that half of the West Stand gives them the backing of the crowd when they come out at start of each half, our coaching team and subs have to walk in front of their fans. It's bad enough that the changing rooms are under the away end so any noise heard in the changing rooms is the away fans, so boosting them. It doesn't help our cause in trying to get 3 points.
RE: Depends on the view you take Like i said shame we cant any more home fans to attend, i just hope we actually have ago at them unlike the sunderland match. But methinks Davey will set us up to try to keep a clean sheet and spawn a goal.
The article from Derby official site ALL GONE All 7,400 tickets for Rams fans for next Saturday's trip to Barnsley have now been sold. Although Sunderland took 7,800 recently to Oakwell, since then Barnsley have increased the amount of segregation between home and away fans and there will be no more tickets available to Derby supporters. "The atmosphere our supporters have generated at away games has been tremendous all season," said manager Billy Davies, "but the Barnsley game is really something for the players to look forward to. To take 7,400 fans to an away ground is a phenomenal response at this vital stage in the season."
RE: Depends on the view you take We cannot take the risk of going for the juggular agaisnt a team of derbys calibre though.
RE: The article from Derby official site Club abd police learnt the lesson then of the Sunderland game.
RE: The article from Derby official site what went off,sit down other end of the east, thought they'd stopped homefans sitting on gangway 7/8 anyhow. If the stewards can't do their job will the ground ever be full again.
So Who Is Compenstating........ us for losing thousands of pounds from 400 extra tickets that could have been sold?
RE: its not the clubs fault they have the space to sell and are doing what a business should. Yes it would be better if more home fans came out so it was less of an home match for the visiting team. However many fans are in a state of mind at the moment where they aren't confident. I would think crowds would go up if we stay up.
