    Saw something this morning. The album Lennon signed for Mark Chapman, prior to being shot, sold for half a million dollars.. :eek:

    I hate to think what the world WOULD be like, without Lennon & the global peace movement. :eek: I have no doubt they slowed things down a bit..

    I remember it well but it does seem some while ago as I was in the 6th Form at Wombwell High - distinctly remember non stop Lennon/Beatles tracks on the radio in our common room that day

    Not only shot ,but with hollowed out bullets ,Lennons left lung and all blood vessels above his heart destroyed with 2 bullets ,he never stood a chance of surviving it,Lennon had just signed an album for him,Yoko said his last words were “no let’s go see Sean before he goes to sleep”,after she had asked him to go for a meal round corner before going up to apartment,maybe Chapman might not have waited that extra time who knows ,RIP John
