Simon is clearly not the man to take us forward, look at Swansea, Cardiff,Bristol City,Doncaster.....

although i agree with u about simon davey not being the man to take us forward we do still have up to 3 games in hand above some ppl which is a nice 9 points if we win them and they are all at home

i don't like davey, but he can't be blamed for going down a place

when we haven't even fecking played.
he has to get it sorted these next 3 games though.season ticket holders i know aern't renewing even if we stay up, if dopey's in charge. they have had enough of the ***** and negative displays.
i won't say tactics because he doesn't have any

We were gonna be 4th from bottom regardless of the result today...

3 games in hand, okay tough games but i reckon we're capable of getting 5 or 7 points from our next 3 games, should be enough to ease the pressure, going into the running. Agreed about him not being the right man for the job, but sacking him now will be suicidal IMHO.

    The mind boggles

Can't believe you posted that. Whatever your views about Davey, surely you can't blame him for slipping a place when we haven't even played?

He has a lot to answer for, but today he couldn't do anything.

Did you manage to keep your job or did you get laid off in the end?

But how many more times is he going to come up with a result to "ease the pressure" and how is that acceptable?

I didn't seriously believe you were

It was the "4th from bottom" bit. That was nailed on anyway before any of the games started. And yes I know what you really meant, and I tend to agree.

Mate of mines a joiner and had worked for a Wetherby firm for 16 years. Was laid off this week as they went into administration. Apparently they owe one decorating firm £75k. Its getting worse by the week.

thats what they do, because they pay up 3 months after a job is done

firm i worked for owe small contractors 100's of thousands and still expect them to do more work. the contractors daren't refuse because they are owed so much, they also have to do all remedial and mainatnence work for nothing.

Not a bad idea really because you can float around from firm to firm until it all kicks off again.

    Also

Under normal circumstances a subcontractor can command 20% more that someone on the books. Nows not really the time to argue the point though lol
