Fck me, if it ever comes together we'll win the league by 10 points.

    On a seriousish note, if we continue in the last few games vein for much longer we'll get a few hammerings.

    Still, 9 wins needed for safety by this stage is alright by me.

    Wolves (a), Watford (h), Fowls (a), Ipswich (a).

    Going to concede a lot of goals if we play like we have done in the last two games. We need a centre midfielder and quick.

    one thing I will say is

    when teams like man u, liverpool, chelsea all win when they play bad people always say it is the sign of a good team if they still winning when playing badly, yet with us just becasue it is not pretty means were are *****.

    I bet Chelsea were gutted with mourinho's style of play that won them trophies! We just have different targets, safety and consoldiation are the main targets this season and I don't care how we play as long as we do it!

    some toughies in the next eight games. If we get say 10 points that will be 33 from half a season, or more to the point 17 required from 23 games to stay up.

    Less than a point a game needed for safety, so that'll do me.

    Not necessarily with our game as an example but…
    …generally when Man U etc al play badly it's talked of as more of a case that they are involved in a poor game where play is broken up and they don't create too much or finish well. It's rarely the case that they are back-to-the wall performances where they are parked in their own half for 45 min scrambling for dear life. Sure, they win ugly and play poor football but when people talk of top teams they generally talk of them in context of "by their own standards". It’s rare the top teams get a hammering and get away with it.

    Hang on a second;

    "generally when Man U etc al play badly it's talked of as more of a case that they are involved in a poor game where play is broken up and they don't create too much or finish well"

    did we not do exactly the same last night, hardly created, involved in a poor game, play broken up just because Blackpool played better means sweet fa because we won and there has been hundreds of occasions when teams have been outplayed and won!

    At the start of the season when man u were picking up 1-0 wins and in some games were been very lucky (Spurs at home) is this any different to us?

    They won the european cup in 1999 despite getting smashed off the park. Last season we playede some greate stuff under AR but got no results and the same seems to be ahppening to blackpool now! I also saw some very ordinary teams last year home and awya yet these teams wer pushing for the playoffs/promotion.

    Nobody has mentioned that we are much more solid defensivley, resolute and never die attitude than last season. If we were on the back foot last season undeer AR we would have conceded but we are much more stubborn and the method is working for us at the minute so why change it? I'd love to see superb football every week but I would also much rather see us win every week as well!
