They usually add on 30 seconds per incident so...... 6 seperate stoppages for subs (3 per side) = 3 mins. Two goals = 1 min. Then another minute for free kicks, corners, thrown ins etc. A couple of times near the end it took a while for the ball to be retrieved. Five minutes seemed spot on.
Did it chuff seem spot on. Never in a million years were there 5 times as much stoppage time in the second half as the first. If a ref only adds one minute for a long slow penalty with lots of arguing and a lengthy talk to a player for a foul then that same ref cant go adding on 5 minutes in the second half. If there were 5 in the second then there were 3 in the first at least.
You're forgetting all that time lost when Rosenior fell over and broke his back. Poor lad, Jimbo made him look a fool tonight.
That's true that stoppage was for a while. Then the ball got lost between the North and East stands so had to be replaced. Then the ball went down an ESL gangway when being thrown back. Then someone threw the ball and it bounced off the ESL advertising boards that are near the touchline so the Hull player had to climb over the advertising boards to get his own ball. It all adds up over the course of 45 minutes.
