I can't see donny and charlton getting to 40 and I'd be surprised if both forrest and southampton got to 50

I think we should be aiming higher than survival though

    RE: I agree

I think we have to but we have built up a decent gap over the bottom four

I would just like to see us aiming for about 14th - that would be a sign of progress

Agreed. We have a better side than last year so a better finish is the least we should expect.

If we got 50 points but, for example, finished half way due to a number of teams finishing below us, would this represent 'progress'? ie given we actually got 55 points last season?

60-62 points would be enough to see us finish about 13th or 14th

this is what we should be aiming for

We really need to put more chances away to be more consistant & just cut out the silly errors! Concentration was a lot better yesterday!

Away form is the main issue, if we can even pick up some more draws away rather than defeats it would help. We should of had 4 extra points minimum from Blackpool, Preston & Swansea! We need more belief & more passion away from home at times!

I think there will be twists and turns before we finish too. Can see us getting to 60 points. If we get the right players in in January then maybe even 66-70. Donny are going down, after that it is 2 from Forest, Charlton, Southampton. There are other teams who will finish below us as we are. We can put a few more behind us if we get a striker or two. Around 14th for me.

I would like to see us finish around 14th- think that would be respectable considering our autrocious start! Think Donny are doomed- not enough goals and not enough good Championship calibre players in their team, also think Charlton will go down- keep changing managers and too many big ego's in that team. If anyone's to make the great escape it'll be Forest; they have some decent, young players in their ranks, so for me Southampton, Charlton and Donny to go down- with the latter finishing bottom of course :D .

    Long way to go

It's unusual for the bottom few teams to stay the same. Don't be surprised to see Forest, Charlton or Southampton go on a great run and finish above us.

Forest & Charlton are absolutely hopeless. There's nothing in either team. Donny are just a pub team having a laugh, pass the ball around the back 4 and think theyre Arsenal for it, and Soton will fall flat as theyre made up of loanee's.

Also, we should be looking at getting to 50 points. Once we get to that stage, take every point as a bonus and see where we end up.
