I really think teams won't be safe with 50 points this season. It's been a crazy few weeks with teams down at the bottom producing excellent form. Reckon we could be on for a real hum dinger of a season here.

Even more important the super reds got a cracking result today. We may look back at the end of the season and realise just how important the three points today really are.

Cracking results today. Well done to Flicker and the Reds.

I think that only once has a team with 51 points gone down. If the bottom teams are winning then the mid table teams will soon become the bottom teams. If Barnsley get 51 points and go down I'll do the trouser drop on town hall steps

He he. Careful bud. I really think at least one of the bottom three will get more than 51 points this season. From what I've seen of the last few games though it won't be us. Just hope this run continues. As Reds fans we've not had a lot to cheer about for a while. I'm glad the last few 'Hill' months are behind us and we can look forward to a brighter 'Flicker' future.

Leicester were relegated with 52 points, Walsall were relegated with 51 points.

At the moment it looks like this season will need a relatively high points total to be safe but its not easy to predict as it depends on which fixtures are left, especially the head to head fixtures of the teams near the bottom.

And if we had had observant referees we would have had two extra points - Leeds away and Owls at home.
