Oxford fans will be singing "There's only one Steve Dyer" on behalf of a 59-year old terminally ill fan who'll be seeing his club for the last time. Be good if we could join in or at least applaud. http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/14...f_terminally_ill_United_supporter_at_Wembley/
Horrible KNOWING it's your last one. I took my Dad to his last visit to Oakwell some years ago, but he didn't know it would be his last game at the time
I will be joining in with this applause, be nice if fellow football fans would too, I'm sure if the word was spread we would all be only too glad to show support in this grim time for the guy
absolutely a must I will so do this... will set an alarm on my watch phone whatever... would have been good if the Oxford lads could have got summat sorted for it to come up on the score boards too.
I have a mind like sieve Ian give me a kick at the 59th ... hey I have a loud hailer ... do you reckon I should bring it ??
I'll be joining in. Can only imagine what he and his family are going through. It's the least we can do. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
wht about this ?? Reds all sing the "one Stevie Dyer" chant... and then immediately afterwards do the old "BROOOCE BROOOCE DYER" except of course making it STEVE... now that would IMHO be a class act

Would be amazing if the whole stadium applauded Steve, good on you Barnsley. Might have to support you guys if/when you get promotion
Lots of Reds fans posting on the FB thread. Definite feel-good vibe in the comments. His daughter has posted on it too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

A touch of class for us to join in. Let's make it a 2000 type atmosphere inside and outside of the ground, rather than that of 2008, and show people what the games' really about. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
Not knocking it, but there's plenty of people die silently of cancer every day. My day lasted 17 days from diagnosis of pancreatic cancer under 2 years ago.
