This is what an ex player told me today, apparently the new "fair play" but not for little clubs rule is making more clubs offer pro contracts to academy players.
The squads will be noticeably smaller next season he said.
There will be real bargains out there for any manager who holds his nerve.
The balance of power is switching back to the clubs again.

No, he meant changing back to the clubs again, like 30 years ago when no clubs went into administration because they didnt give the players fantastic wages like today.
When your one of hundreds looking for work the advantage will be with the employer dont you think?

The obscene wages bubble is long overdue bursting sadly in the premier league there are still no signs of this happening and until we see the premier league implode we, and other clubs like us, will continue to feed from the crumbs that are thrown from the top table.

Even small changes will help us though so if Hill can get some decent players in for sensible wages I'll be happy.
