its been an amazing run hasnt it and by all accounts we matched Gillingham last week and maybe deserved better.
the play offs are out of the question so lets forget about them, what matters the most is we are still 12+ pts ahead of the bottom 4. and looking at Donny, if today is anything to go by they could really struggle this season but i dont feel sorry for them one little bit.
now its onto Flicker at Bury and they have just won 2 in a row at home.

I wouldn't say the play offs were out of the question just yet. Not saying we'll make them, but there's still the possibility.

I think that if we can beat Bury and Crewe then we're still a decent outside bet for the playoffs. We then play Coventry, Walsall and Southend in quick succession, which could be a key run of games. Still all to play for in my view.

We are currently a good purposeful confident attacking side with momentum.. Great wing play and no nonsense defending.....and who sAid we couldn't play 442? It really is a revelation. The first half display today was top class.just hope aidy whites injury isn't too bad as he is a real asset. Think young George is solid but aidy gives us another attacking outlet. We really are good to watch at the minute.
I also think we can make the play offs having just looked at the remaining games. If I was playing in our team currently I'd be thinking of two Wembley trips . Went to gillingham last week and we deserved at least a point and they moved to second in the table. We are a better side than them at the moment.

it certainly sounded like it was close last week at gillingham, and that we more than matched a promotion looking team.
most of our remaining games have got something riding on them so who knows eh, im just trying to take each game etc and not get any hopes up regarding the play offs.

after these last 2 results, have any fans changed their minds at all about hecky getting the job (either for him or against him) ?

If we win our game in hand the gap to Millwall is 5 points.

I was for him and Tommy before. I'm for him and Tommy now so haven't changed my mind. It's not broken etc.........one of their tests will be recruitment for next season. A bit of tinkering here and there and we could be looking at some stability allied with potentially exciting times. Also pleasantly surprised to hear that hecky is well qualified. He's very understated and I like that. Not a Charlie big time. Good lad.
