More like, "There's no case to answer. A group of learned gentleman, incidentally of "high repute" took a decision based on the best interests of the game, considering all legal challenges in full!"

In your opinion, how close to the "truth" is this version. In fairness, this is a mish-mash of research I did on the old inter-web?

It's a while ago since I read it but from what I can remember it gives a good account of what went on.

Public records for the reasons why have never been published. Which for an event that happens over 90 years ago is pretty unbelieveable. It's the principle of it. It's English Football History. Just like Munich, the `66 World Cup et al. Spurs fans / Wolves fans / Barnsley / Chelsea / Liverpool and Man U have a historical part in this.

    17 responses so far -- thanks !!

I appreciate all of your comments, even the one's that may question exactly what is the point of it?

The way I see it, it's my pet mission. A bit like Dave Gorman travelling twice around the globe to meet other Dave Gorman's. It might not make sense to everybody, but I may find something I didn't expect in having done it.

Full Story / Links & Password here

It's now out on Wolves, Derby, Preston and Chelsea message boards and I aim to contact Spurs, Man U & Liverpool - essentially all the teams involved in this debacle and see what happens. Your support directly or virally is appreciated !!

Wouldn't you rather do the round the world thing instead? I have signed. Can't see you getting any sort of response but it would be interesting to see the records.
