Prior to kick - off Adam Oxley said it looked over a thousand reds fans. After reading here the last few days I was surprised to hear that our attendance was only 901. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
We paid on the day (3 of us) and didn't get issued a ticket. The gate man was keeping a tally of cash sales on a piece of paper.
A mate of mine went and was asked to dress as an empty seat. Would explain it Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
tried to speak to a supervisor steward today warning him that unless they told everyone that inside the ground you could sit anywhere , you might have some bother, nah its ok he said you only sold 600 tickets, when i said we had sold over 1100, he laughed and walked away
Think Mr Tax Man could be getting fiddled by Walsall, box office tweeted they'd sold over 1100. Be 200 plus pay on gate as well.
cash only , no tickets issued, doesnt take a genius to work out where that cash is going does it The taxman has no idea how many paid on the day yesterday and Walsall have stuck that cash straight in the petty cash drawer.
Hi Walsall fan here. The end used to hold about 1900, but they but the barriers at the front, so now it's down to around 1,700. I was surprised when I walked in just at kick off to see it quite empty in the away end, after reading on Friday that you'd sold 1163 tickets in advance. Sorry to burst your bubble, but 900 sounds about right. Think the info about 1163 was wrong. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
So I guess then that it's us, BFC, on the fiddle. Puts our 22,000 for Wembley into question. True figure is in fact 8325. It's the green dots on the Wembley seating plan that actually show what we have sold and not what are still available.
You may well be right but the figure our box office tweeted was based on what your club had told ours.
No way was there anywhere near 4,300 in the rest of the ground, even before the Walsall started going home after an hour. Not that it matters, all of us who were there were there and took over the ground in terms of support, followed by our second half masterclass.
