Very rare for us to have a four figure league gate. The game being on Sky Sports + won't have helped. Flatman said they are listening to fan concerns about ticket prices in his programme notes. Let's hope they are because this head coach deserves more people in the ground.
That’s what was announced at the ground but the BBC match report says 11,196. So one of them is wrong. Still £29 on the day isn’t going to get many last minute takers especially when it s on Sky+
Its always gunna dwindle whilst prices are the way they are and its on telly. Thats reason for 3pm blackout. But hopefully we keep performing well and winning and fans will return all being well. It is a tough balancing act, trying to keep prices fair etc and also bringing it the highest quality players we can
Would hope we know our own attendance better than the BBC. Maybe they gave the usual one of tickets sold and we gave the one for those who turned up. They need to knock prices down. It was our last 3 pm home game for over a month, so the attendance was a surprise.
Watching on tv I was shocked how few people were in the East Stand. Very many empty seats. So 9000 does not surprise me at all.
Didn't help that Bristol Rovers brought hardly any. That will be the Sky effect again as its a long way to come for a game that they can get on the telly, but they are meant to be one of the bigger clubs in the league - I was a bit underwhelmed with their numbers.
Far too pricey for a 3rd division game, I went to first game with my lad £60, I'll cherry pick the games now, BFC need to make games more financially attractive.
No the liner found summat wrong with the goal net at Ponty End. Took groundsman a few minutes to fix it.
