    Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we have a ***** pre-season in 96/97? A 3-0 loss at then non league Yeovil rings a bell?

    Yeah! And 1999, Manchester Utd went on to win the treble after a ***** pre-seson, they even lost the charity shield 3-0 to arsenal.
