Don't feel too down Barnsley fans - you didn't do too badly against by far and away the best squad in the Championship. We've got a devastating front line and I think today for you to get anything out of the game you would have had to score, rather than keep a clean sheet. HOWEVER, you just didn't have the quality to finish off chances. Brian Howard had a great shot saved from Maik Taylor and Diego Leon hit the bar. If those had gone in, it would've been different. The scary thing is, I don't think Blues have really got out of first gear in the first four games we've played and if you had've scored we mighteve been forced into upping the tempo. Talking about Diego Leon, he is a terrific player - by far the one that stood out the most. He was at the centre of everything for you and without him, I'd admit it'd be grim for you. I know what it's like when you don't like the man in charge - Steve Bruce was a nightmare even if he did get us promoted two seasons ago - but I'd say give Davey ten games and If you've lost them all, then press the red button! Good luck with the season ahead and I hope results pick up!
Thanks for that Trouble is thats 3 games now we have done OK but not scored when we needed to and let in 2 goals - bit of a theme developing Agree we need to give a few more games to our Manager and hopefully he turns it round. I wouldnt have wanted Bruce as a manager either - think you are much better off now
