Is a rather lovely Chapoutier Limestone Coast shiraz which I found about two years ago at the Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, I’m not a beer drinker but for them that are: if you ever get chance to try Little Creatures Pale Ale you’re onto a winner – apparently!

The wine’s a bit pricey so it’s reserved for special occasions and with my first glass tonight I’ll be offering up a toast to the friends we’ve lost this year.

SteveS and Mrs ICU Tyke, plus the guy who died the Cardiff weekend and the fanzine guy. Some have shared their personal loss with the BBS, others have grieved more privately. To all of them now watching the reds from that upstairs grandstand I will raise a glass and say RIP and for the families pray that you feel the pain of grief less and less but love and miss them more and more. Hold them in your hearts.

    Happy New Year everybody!
