Getting rid of all the average fringe players and having a quality smaller squad gives us the opportunity to sign quality loan players when required.
Instead of putting Togwell in the team and keeping Leon on the wing we sign Teale giving a better balance team, lets hope it works.

But the 'average fringe players' are the ones that Davey signed

and it was Davey who wanted 2 players for every position! (doh)

We still have two players for every position but when they get injured you get a loan player.

No one can really say owt about the team or SD just yet

And probably wont be able to after the first 4 to 6 weeks

We have played QPR, the Chelsea of the Championship
Next up is a team that beat us 4-0 and 4-1 at home in the last two seasons.
Followed by Birmingham who have just come out of the Premeirship and look odds on to go straight back up.
Then we have Derby who again have just come out of the Premeirship and are smarting from a poor start this season. so expect a backlash there.

By the end of this month if we have any points on the board its going to be a surprise and a bonus.

Lets see where we are in November and December

If we don't get any points in August then

I would guess we would be fairly near the bottom of the table even after November. That's how it tends to work if you don't have many points I think. Unless of course we win loads of games in a row, which would be a first.

I feel much better after reding that, if we want to be an established Championship club we can't look at teams with those views
we should compete same against them all.

We should be looking to beat every team,

not thinking well if we can get this month out of the way. Then we can start to get some points under our belt.
