First off, the toilets at half time, disgusting! Do you smokers who smoke in the toilets have no respect at all!? And yet again we were significantly late to kick off, especially second half, 10 past 4!
No they don't no respect for the kids etc at all wish some of them would get done tbh its like using mobile whilst driving they don't give a fek Its only a couple of hours ffs we used t g seven and a quarter down pit someties even longer
I am a smoker and I hate using the toilets at half time - I try to make a point these days of going just before half time because if you leave it until half time it becomes unbearable in there - don't know what it is like for non smokers. It really winds me up that grounds are supposed to be non smoking and yet they never police the toilets - even when you can see and smell the fog in there from the concourse. Might as well just allow smoking everywhere because at least then it would be spread over a wider area, not confined in a small space to the extent that they become unusable.
ask the football league its there rules .to have a no smoking area outside the perimeter of a ground /roughly it must be away from a built up area --stupid rule but it is
Absolutely rammed in the back of the upper tier as well, far too small. And some f***er pushed in the pie queue haha
its a stand that needs tearing down and rebuilding ,poor access /egress from upper tier. Refreshment area ,stone age with little hatches made of mesh ,toilets not hygienic when there's a crowd . squashed in.area at the back of the stand minimal ,surely in regulation regarding fire safety its illegal to swash people in like this. atmosphere of treating away fans like potential hooligans does not give a positive vibe either .old ground that does NOT consider away fans safety. its not the same for home fans though.better facilities, not claustrophobic.no risk to health.basically its a disgrace.rear of stand .viewing area from seats is the only positive.
It does seem ridiculous that in these days of over-regulation and health and safety above everything that they can get a safety certificate for the full capacity in that upper tier when to fill it to capacity results in the concourse being so rammed that you literally can't move.
Surely they can go two hours without a smoke but then again the club should enforce the rule to benefit everybody.
I agree that both of these were issues. However, I was particularly sickened by the Oakwell intelligentsia and their racist songs a few rows in front of me. Idiots.
Agree about the late kick off. Why is this happening every week? I work some Saturday nights and have to be on the road by 5, I'm missing a substantial amount of the game after walking to my car, which is **** at the prices we pay.....
Spoke to a Wednesday fan I know and he says that todays kick off was much later than they usually have. It must be us who are to blame for it happening every week surely? It's too much of fa coincidence for every team we play to have a late day on the one day of a season that we play them
I think its possibly mind games. They are out in the tunnel and we come out when we want. For the Watford game there was a Countdown to Kickoff thing on the scoreboard. There was 20 seconds left on it and the teams were no-where to be seen. It was knocking on 4:15 when the second half kicked off.....
It must be something to do with us, every away game iv been to its been the same, and most home games too. We always seem to be the last result in. Having said that though we were out first for the second half, somethings not right either way.
Most of the team were the first out but Harewood was out after both teams and the ref. Let's blame him
