A couple of things which stood out for me.

Silly passing along the back line at 2-0. We tried to slow the tempo down for some reason whilst we were on top, which made us look nervous and make mistakes, rather than just continuing with the attacking onslaught we demonstrated in the first 15.




The sheer chasm between our centre halfs. Their back line was so cohesive; they were keeping each other in check and ensuring there was no huge gaps, whereas we were the opposite and looked vulnerable every time they came forward.




They didn't have one opportunity after we brought Treacy on and switched to 4-4-2, or at least I don't remember one. Purely because both Williams and Treacy were tasked with providing assistance to Brown and Nyatanga. Something we could have done with 60 minutes earlier.




We have no midfielders capable of breaking up play. We could do with one. That said, we also missed Bailey tonight, even though he isn't that type of midfielder either.




First half I noticed that Cole is improving with every game. Hope we can hold onto him for the season.




Very frustrating night, we could have easily been 4-1 up at half time, but that awful first goal seemed to change the flow of the game, because really, it came out of nothing.
